This Cookie Policy describes how Vaelgloom uses browser storage, Google Analytics, and possible future advertising cookies.

Essential / functional storage

We use localStorage (not always classic cookies) for language, consent status, and optional main-class preference so basic site features work. These are necessary or functional for the Desk experience.

Google Analytics (GA4)

We load Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode (Advanced). Until you Accept All, analytics_storage stays denied: no _ga / _ga_* analytics cookies. Google may still receive cookieless measurement pings and fill gaps with modeled data in GA4. After you accept, consent updates to granted and standard analytics cookies may be set. Declining keeps storage denied.

Advertising cookies (future)

We may later use advertising or remarketing cookies from third parties. Those scripts are not enabled in the current build; ad_storage remains denied. Before ads go live we will update this page and the consent text.

Managing and withdrawing consent

Use Change Preference on this page to clear your choice and show the cookie notice again (Accept All or Decline). You can also clear site data in your browser settings. Changing preference updates Consent Mode immediately (no full page reload required).
